For 2023 Year of the Rabbit, based on her art concept “a thousand faces”, visual artist Young yu delves deeper into the spiritual dimension and creates new series with a new concept "one person with a thousand faces". Inspired by the saying "soft rabbits bite when they are in a hurry”, Artist Young yu creates new characters of the black and white rabbits.
FeelBlanc creates a warm but vibrant healing space full of fuzzy and conflicting materials to encourage viewers to explore their personalities that have been smoothed out by the rules of the society, and to awaken the suppressed desires.
In this exhibition, the gallery is transformed into a spiritual space, where huge and soft black plush spreads aggressively across the space, with patterns inspired by variations of traditional Chinese copper coins, symbolizing the free ego and positive desire for the material life.
