Let’s Meat
FeelBlanc has brought the "Let's Meat! Kimmik Bear" series by visual artist Kim Ye to MIST GALLERY, 25F, Amber Hotel Guanshan Lake, Guiyang. The exhibition has recently come to a successful end, through the three exhibition areas of more than 30 pieces of classic works of display arrangement, so that the artist's whimsical perfect presentation, this issue to take you "flashback" to the air fairy tale world.
Visitors will be able to roam around the three open-plan exhibition areas. In Gallery 1, 16 photographs of Kimmik bears in different colors and textures are hung side by side, striking the viewer's eyes, while Gallery 2, "Kimmik Bear X Guiyang," presents the artist's new series of Kimmik bears specially designed for Guiyang. In Gallery 3, inspired by the Meat Mural, a symbol of the era of the separation of East and West Berlin, the artist has created a Kimmik meat mural with 200 Kimmik bears occupying an entire wall.
This is a bear that followed Kim Ye from Berlin, Germany, and at one time suffered from mood disorders, not knowing how to express itself. During its journey across the East and West, it gradually opens itself up and learns to love and be loved.
